Rocking you to sleep

Jairmie William it is three in the morning in the middle of september 2011. Your still teething infact your working on your second tooth. These last few nights you have been waking up between 2 and 3 in the morning and needing about a half hour to fourty-five minutes of our time. Last night daddy and me played with you, and you laughed and laughed, today was different. <3 
I stood there singing to your bed time music, a cd I put together myself from calm loving songs about family, and God. About what love really is. One of the songs is one that your daddy and I had at our wedding. It is called when God made you. 
As it was playing I was singing to you. Then you began to sing yourself....
I lave mana dada, I love mana dada, la la la la dada, la la la la nana, la la (deep sigh)

Then your rested your head on mommys shoulder and started drifting off to sleep. My love this is one of the most wonderful moments a mommy could ask for. 


You are so very loved Jairmie. You have your daddies name, because he wanted you to know he loves you that much. I want you to know something. Mommy and daddy may fight. No one knows for sure what is coming in the future... but mommy knows that she loves daddy, and that daddy loves her. We are a family. A beautiful beautiful family. Together with God's help we will make it through everything. 


Rest now my child. And mommy must do the same. Tomorrow will be another busy day. You will be sad because your teeth hurt. Mommy will be upset because she cant fix it. Daddy will be in class and will miss you soo. Together though, we are gonna make it through this time that is soo hard for all of us. Soon you will see growing up isnt so bad. I just pray you treasure it. It will go by quickly.


Mommy loves you so. Daddy loves you more than the world is round, Grandma French wants you to know she loves you, Grandma Lewis, Well she wants you to know that your her world little boy and that she loves you dearly too.

Growing up so fast

My sweet beautiful son. It has been a couple months since I have been able to write one of these for you. You are growing so quickly. On the 14th of this month (september) you took your first steps. Yesterday, the 16th, I was able to see your first 2 teeth :) This morning (its 2am) you woke up crying. As I held you close to my heart and sang to you, you sang with me. Your favorite song is "Some say love" by bette midler. Its perfect actually, because there are so many things love can be, but for your daddy and I, its you. You are saying dada all the time. Today I think you tried to say Mama. It comes out NANA. You love kisses. There are times you will wake up crying and just scream until mommy looks at you and pull yourself up by my hair to kiss me. You are just growing so much. We love you soo :)

Your sick right now. A dual ear infection. But you will get better soon. Soon you will be one whole year old. Your daddy and I love you soo soo much. For now i must go. There are chores to be done, homework, and daddy has to work in the morning. Know you are loved my little one. And that you are strong.
